Meet Ronald Anderson
A Leader Committed to California's Future
WHERE I COME FROM
I grew up in East LA on Townsend Street, where I got my start in steelwork at just 10 years old, working alongside my father. By 12, I was building and customizing cars for neighbors, gaining a reputation in the community. I balanced work and education, attending Pasadena City College and Trade Tech while managing steel teams for other companies. At 26, I founded Anderson Ornamental Iron Works and 28 I changed the name to Anderson's Iron Works and Fabrication, which quickly became a successful business featured in magazines. My experiences during the LA riots, witnessing the destruction of businesses and the suffering of diverse communities, have fueled my dedication to making California safer and more just for everyone. I believe it's time for change, and I’m ready to help lead that change for a stronger, united state. Because the people we have now, they just can't do it. Just take a look, they don't care. Look how bad it is, how dirty and unsafe, in many places we have slums. This is unforgivable, how we are living, when we never had this before.
A VISION FOR CALIFORNIA
My vision for California is simple: I want a state where people can feel safe, where businesses can thrive, and where we can restore the values that once made us proud. Whether it's fixing our broken infrastructure, addressing the homelessness crisis, or ensuring that our education system prepares the next generation for success, I’m ready to take action. I’ve built my life on hard work, resilience, and a commitment to doing what’s right. I will bring that same energy and dedication to governing California.
1. Helping Others
In the past, helping someone in need was instinctual, whether it was assisting someone who fell or stepping in to protect others from harm. Today, that sense of responsibility has been eroded. We need to return to those core values of support and care for one another. Young or old, from time to time we all need help. True American values mean leaving no one behind, lifting up those who fall, and creating systems that ensure we all move forward together. We need a government that fosters this mindset and protects these essential values.
2. Community Strength
Strong communities come from mutual respect, shared goals, and standing up against those who wish to harm or disrupt our lives. We must protect the values of safety and cooperation within our neighborhoods and businesses.
3. Personal Freedom and Enjoyment
Everyone deserves the opportunity to enjoy life, whether it’s spending time with loved ones, traveling abroad, or simply having peace of mind. Personal experiences and quality time should be preserved as sacred memories that enrich our lives.
4. Economic Security
The ability to build and maintain a business without fear of destruction or theft is vital. We should protect hard-earned businesses from being torn down by violence, theft, or poor economic policies that destabilize livelihoods.
5. Mental Health and Public Safety
Today, we face growing mental health challenges which I believe are being caused by illegal and prescription drugs with serious side affects. I believe these drugs are causing people to do things that they wouldn't normally due. We need to stop the flow and usage of illegal drugs in our state and we must evaluate the side effects of prescription drugs that cause people to do harm.
6. Resilience and Leadership
After building and running successful businesses for over 35 years, the economic collapse in 2009 hit hard, but the loyalty and support of former workers show that a strong leader inspires lasting respect. As governor, I aim to bring the same resilience and care to the state, ensuring a better quality of life for all. Those who will be working with me will be dedicated to ensuring that our achievement is for the betterment of all the people of California. Our good work will go down into history for restoring California to the Golden State it used to be.
My Values
MISSION STATEMENT
A New Path for a Stronger California
I, Ronald A. Anderson, stand for a better, safer, and more prosperous California. I know you're paying too much in taxes, gas, food, and for a system that seems broken—a system that doesn’t care. The same politicians promise change, but nothing gets better—and you deserve far more. We have all taken a beating with there lies and so called promises that become forgotten once they win.
It’s time for real solutions. We can't keep voting for the same people and expect different results. California needs leadership that truly understands the challenges families face: the rising cost of living, unsafe neighborhoods, and a growing homeless crisis. Right now, you're being taxed more but receiving less in return, with no real relief in sight.
But I believe in change—and I have the vision and ideas to make it happen. By cutting wasteful spending, lowering taxes, and creating lasting solutions to our problems, I will create a cleaner, safer, and more affordable California for everyone. The homeless will find jobs and the dignity of paying their own way. Hard-working California families will finally be able to save for their future and not be paying for someone who does not want to work. Putting the load on hardworking Americans is going to change. This is the unacceptable thinking of the old way.
Now is the time to act. The choice is yours: Do you want more of the same, or are you ready for real, lasting change that benefits you and your family? Together, we can build a California that works for all of us. I’m eager to start this journey. Are you ready?
